Polished black marble, compact and solid
Black marble gives a bathroom a darker, quieter mood, and this rectangular wall-mount sink brings it in a compact size. It is hand-carved from a single, uninterrupted block of Toros Black marble quarried in Turkey, so there are no glued joints where moisture can sit. The stone is polished inside and out, which deepens the black and lets the light veining show clearly. Every stone sink is one of a kind: the mineral inclusions, veining and surface character cannot be repeated, and even two basins carved from the same block will differ. At 18 inches long, 12 inches wide and 7 inches high, it suits a powder room or guest bath and still holds its own in a larger bathroom.
Design
A dark, reflective rectangle
The sink is a clean rectangle with rounded edges. The curves along the rim and inside the basin leave no tight corners for dirt to gather, and the smooth stone surfaces make routine cleaning simple. The polished finish is the defining detail. It gives the black a glassy depth, catches light from a window or vanity lamp and makes the white and gray veining stand out against the dark ground. A polished face also closes the surface of the stone more than a matte one, which gives a little more resistance to marks. Because the stone is natural, moderate variation in tone and veining from one sink to the next is expected, and the pattern on each piece will be different. The 7 inch height gives the basin real depth for its size, so a compact footprint does not mean a shallow bowl.

Wall-mount sinks hang directly on the wall with no pedestal or cabinet under them, so the floor stays open and the room feels less crowded. That matters most in a powder room or guest bath, where a few inches of floor make a real difference, and it makes cleaning beneath the sink easy. The 12 by 18 inch footprint is compact enough for those narrow walls but substantial enough for daily use in a primary bath. Black marble works in modern, minimalist and classic spa-style rooms, especially against light walls or warm wood. The sink is also listed for above-vanity installation, so it can sit on a counter if the plan changes. The 1.77 inch drain hole takes standard bathroom drain fittings without modification.

Installation
Back the wall first
Even a compact marble sink is heavy, so a wall-mounted installation needs solid support. Blocking between the studs at the mounting height should be in place before the sink is hung, and it is easiest to add while the wall is open. Brackets carry the stone and keep the floor clear. Because there is no cabinet, plan the faucet early: a wall-mounted spout needs its supply lines run inside the wall to the right height. If the sink is set on a vanity instead, the top must be flat and level, and the sink is bedded in silicone. A professional installer is recommended for the lifting and to line up the drain and supply cleanly.

This sink is offered on two schedules. The 5 to 7 business day option ships sooner, while the 8 to 14 week option is made to order and is the lower-priced choice. Both are the same polished sink in the same size. Sinks can also be carved in custom sizes and finishes, which helps when a wall is narrower or wider than standard. Care
Toros Black is a porous calcite marble, so acidic liquids such as vinegar or citrus can etch the polish, and harsh abrasives can dull it over time. Sealing keeps the stone stain-resistant, and how often it is resealed depends on how much the sink is used, often about once a year.
