Product Description
Tuxedo Black and White is a 3 inch hexagon matte porcelain mosaic built around a solid-color black and white composition. Its alternating tonal contrast makes the hexagonal outlines prominent, while the low-sheen surface keeps the pattern visually grounded. The collection extends this two-color treatment into other geometric mosaics alongside solid Obsidian Black pieces.
Three-inch hexagons create a broader pattern than a fine mosaic, giving each six-sided piece a clear role in the overall surface. A matte finish softens glare, and the V1 shade rating keeps color differences slight across the sheet. Approved settings include kitchen backsplashes, residential interior walls, shower walls and floors, plus bathroom floors and walls.
With water absorption at 0.5% or less, this impervious porcelain takes in almost no water and resists staining from within. Breaking strength reaches at least 325 pounds, compared with the 250-pound ANSI A137.1 minimum for floor tile. A wet DCOF of at least 0.42 satisfies the ANSI A326.3 level for indoor floors that get wet. The material also resists frost and thermal shock.
The product is sold by the sheet at 0.89 square foot per sheet. Each box holds five pieces and weighs 18 pounds. Black and White is also offered as a 2x2 mosaic and diamond mosaic, and this hexagon format appears in Obsidian Black matte and Obsidian Black polished.
