Product Description
Tuxedo Black and White in a diamond pattern polished porcelain mosaic combines crisp black and white pieces in a graphic, solid-color composition. The alternating tones give the surface a tailored geometric rhythm, while the polished face reflects light across the individual diamonds. Its 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thickness provides a substantial profile.
The compact diamond pattern brings frequent joints and strong visual movement to a wall without relying on color variation. A V1 rating means the color remains highly consistent from piece to piece, supporting the pattern's clean contrast. This mosaic is rated for residential interior walls, shower walls, and backsplashes in bathrooms and kitchens.
Water absorption of 0.5% or less classifies this as impervious porcelain, meaning the body takes in almost no water and does not stain from within. Breaking strength is at least 325 pounds, above the 250-pound ANSI A137.1 benchmark for floor tile. The surface has wet DCOF of at least 0.42, the ANSI A326.3 threshold for level indoor floors that become wet, although this product's rated applications are walls and backsplashes. It is also resistant to frost and thermal shock.
Sold by the sheet, each sheet covers 0.84 square foot. A box contains 5 sheets and weighs 16 pounds. The Tuxedo line also includes 2x2 and 3 inch hexagon mosaics, along with Obsidian Black matte and Obsidian Black polished options.
