Arabescato Carrara White Marble Console Table - Handcrafted Designer Fluted Legs
Thank you, your request is in.
Our team will review the details and get back to you within one business day.

Marble · Console table
This console is handcrafted from Arabescato Carrara marble quarried in Turkey and finished with a polished face that catches light from every angle. The stone has a white ground with gray veining that shifts in direction and density from one piece to the next. The top is 63 inches long and 16 inches wide, and the console stands 34 inches high on sculptural fluted legs. Each console is made individually by marble specialists in Turkey using long-established stone-working techniques, which is why the veining and finish of every piece are its own. It is a decorative piece, but one designed for real homes and everyday use, not only for display.

Design
The legs are fluted and tapered, shaped like slim columns. Their vertical channels give interest from every side of the table, and the tapering keeps the base from looking heavy beneath a long marble top, so the silhouette stays open and airy. The table draws attention without overwhelming the room. The polished finish is the other half of the design. A polished face reflects light far more than a matte one, giving the white marble a clear, luminous surface that brightens a narrow hallway and adds depth behind a sofa. Hand finishing shows the stone as it is. Each console carries natural variation in its veining and small differences from handwork, which are part of a made-to-order piece rather than flaws. This is a solid marble console, not a table with a marble veneer.

Where to use it
With a 63 inch length and a 16 inch depth, the console answers a common problem with marble furniture: most of it is too deep for a narrow wall. Here the footprint stays slim, so it fits in an entryway without taking over the floor, or behind a sofa where daylight plays across the polished top. The surface holds table lamps, a mirror, framed photographs, decorative vessels and everyday things like keys and a mail tray, with room left over for layered pieces. For a spare entry, pair it with a single striking mirror and very little else. For a warmer living room, add wood accents and layered lighting. The white marble and architectural legs work in modern, contemporary, traditional and transitional rooms, and the same piece shifts from foyer to living room depending on how it is styled.

Delivery and setup
The console arrives as a finished piece with no hardware to assemble, but solid marble at this size is heavy. Plan for two or more people to carry it in and set it down, and measure doorways and turns along the way before delivery. Place it on a level floor so the legs bear evenly and the console stands without any wobble. Felt pads or a rug protect wood and tile underneath. Once it is in place, the mass of the stone gives it real stability for lamps and a full display, and it is ready to style straight away.
Why we chose it
Made to order
This console is made to order on two schedules. The 3 to 4 week option ships sooner, and the 8 to 14 week option is the lower priced choice for the same size and finish. For a wall that needs a different length or depth, the design can be made in a custom size or finish. To start a custom order, contact us with the measurements of the space.
Arabescato Carrara is a calcite marble with a polished face. It is a porous stone: acids such as lemon juice or vinegar can etch the surface through a chemical reaction, even when the stone is sealed, and a white marble shows stains more readily than a darker one. Periodic resealing protects against staining, and how often depends on use. Many owners come to value the patina that develops over the years, the soft marks of a piece that is lived with.
