Carrara White marble with glass sides
This bathtub pairs polished Carrara White marble with reinforced tempered glass side walls. The marble is quarried in Turkey and hand finished, and each piece has its own veining, so no two tubs look exactly alike. The glass panels keep the long sides light and open, while the marble gives the tub its weight and its warmth. It measures 79 inches long, 32 inches wide and 24 inches high, and it is made to order.
Design
Stone body, clear glass walls
The tub combines two materials on purpose. Carrara White marble, a white base with soft gray veining, forms the stone body and carries the polished finish, which catches daylight and shows the depth of the veins. Tempered glass forms the side walls, so the eye passes through the long sides of the tub instead of stopping at a solid block. The result is a marble bathtub that still feels light in the room, a mix of a classic stone and a modern form. The marble walls are 2 to 3 cm thick, giving the body a solid, well insulated build. Natural veining and color vary from piece to piece, and moderate variation between tubs is normal for this stone.

A long tub for a large bath
At 79 inches long, 32 inches wide and 24 inches high, this is a spacious tub with room to stretch out and recline, not a compact statement piece. It suits a primary bathroom with enough floor to show the glass sides, and it works in modern and transitional rooms alike. The thick marble holds heat once it has warmed, so the water stays comfortable through a long soak and the stone does not feel cold for long. The tub has a 4 cm drain hole; the drain fixture is sold separately.

Installation
A pedestal tub, set by a pro
This is a pedestal tub, set on its base on the bathroom floor. Marble and glass together make a heavy piece, and the floor must carry the tub when it is full of water and in use, so a contractor should check the structure before delivery. The plumber positions the drain to meet the 4 cm opening and plans the water supply for a floor mounted filler or a wall mounted faucet. The tub arrives packed in a protective wooden crate. Professional installation is recommended for leveling, the drain connection and handling the glass walls safely.

Care
Carrara White is a calcite marble with a polished surface. Like all marble it is porous: acidic products can etch the polish and strong colors can stain if left to sit. Sealing protects the stone against stains and moisture, and how often it is resealed depends on how much the tub is used. A stone professional can advise on the right sealer and on restoring the polish over time.
