Carrara White, carved from one block
This sink is carved from a single block of Carrara White marble quarried in Turkey. Gray veining runs across a white base, and no two pieces share the same pattern, so every sink that leaves the workshop is slightly different from the next. It measures 24 inches long, 16 inches wide and 6 inches high, a size that suits a powder room as easily as a primary bath. The outside carries a ribbed texture, the inside is a smooth basin, and the whole piece is solid stone from rim to base. Marble sinks are known for lasting decades in a home bathroom, which is why this is a fixture people choose once and keep.

Design
A ribbed face with soft edges
The exterior has a honed, ribbed texture that gives the stone depth and keeps a white basin from looking clinical. The ribs run vertically around the sides and catch light differently through the day. Inside, the basin is smooth and easy to wipe. The edges are rounded rather than sharp, which looks softer and leaves no tight corners where grime can collect. Because the veining is natural, the exact pattern, tone and spacing of the gray lines will differ from the product photos, and moderate color variation between pieces is normal for this stone.
Honed, ribbed exterior
A matte texture that shows the grain of the marble, carved into the stone itself rather than applied.
Rounded edges
Soft corners on the rim and base, with no sharp edges to chip or to trap dirt.
Where to use it
Two ways to install it
Hung on the wall, the sink frees up the floor a vanity cabinet would take, and the open space underneath makes a small bathroom feel larger. It pairs well with a wall-mounted faucet, a floating shelf or simple metal legs, or it can be left bare to show the ribbed sides. The same sink can also sit on top of a vanity like a vessel sink, with the faucet mounted on the counter or on the wall behind it. The 4.5 cm (1.77 inch) drain hole takes standard drain fittings, and a 1 inch clearance underneath leaves room for wall-mounting brackets.

Installation
Plan the wall before it arrives
Solid marble is heavy, so a wall-mounted sink needs solid backing. Before the sink is hung, the wall should have blocking between the studs at the mounting height, which is simplest to add while the wall is open. If the sink will sit on a vanity instead, the top must be flat, level and strong enough to carry the stone, and the sink is set in silicone. The faucet position is best decided early so the supply lines can be run to match. A professional installer is recommended, both for the weight and so the drain and supply lines line up cleanly.

Care
Carrara White is a calcite marble with a honed surface. Like all marble it is a porous stone, so acidic liquids can etch it and strong pigments can stain it if left to sit. This sink arrives professionally sealed, and how often it is resealed depends on how much the bathroom is used.
