Product Description
Ivorynn Stone Sahara Sand is a 16x32 matte porcelain tile with the veining and layered beige color of travertine. Raised digital texture follows the stone graphics, so the surface carries tactile relief alongside the linear pattern.
The rectangular format draws the eye along walls or floors, while rectified edges give each 9 mm thick tile a crisp outline. Its matte finish softens reflections and lets the relief remain visible under changing light. V4 shade variation produces substantial differences among tiles, creating the irregular range associated with natural stone. Ratings cover residential and commercial interior walls and floors, shower walls, backsplashes, and lighter residential floor settings in bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms. The IW classification applies to level indoor floors exposed to water.
Absorption of 0.5% or less defines this as impervious porcelain, so moisture has very little access to the body. Breaking strength is at least 425 pounds, comfortably beyond the 250-pound ANSI A137.1 floor-tile requirement. Mohs 7 offers resistance to scratching from grit and sand. Wet DCOF is at least 0.42, meeting ANSI A326.3 for level wet interior floors. The tile has Class E chemical resistance and resists frost and thermal shock.
It is sold by the box, with pricing shown per square foot. Five pieces provide 16.92 square feet and weigh 69 pounds. Sahara Sand also comes as 24x48 tile and 3 inch hexagon mosaic; the 16x32 format is offered in Caramel Noce matte and Riverstone Grey matte.
