Product Description
Ivorynn Stone Sahara Sand is a 32x32 matte porcelain tile with a warm beige travertine look. Raised digital texture follows the printed veining, giving the surface a stone-like relief as well as visual movement. Its rectified edges and 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thickness define a broad, substantial format.
The square format spreads the sandy pattern across fewer individual tiles, while the matte finish keeps reflections subdued. V4 shade variation means pronounced differences can appear from tile to tile, creating an active, naturally varied field. It is rated for residential and commercial interior walls and floors, including bathroom, kitchen, and living room surfaces, shower walls, and backsplashes. Its IW classification covers level indoor floors that get wet, such as bathrooms and kitchens.
Water absorption of 0.5% or less makes this impervious porcelain, so it takes up almost no water and does not stain from within. Breaking strength is at least 425 pounds, well above the 250-pound ANSI floor-tile threshold. Mohs hardness of 7 resists scratching from grit and sand. Wet DCOF of at least 0.42 meets ANSI A326.3, while Class E chemical resistance, frost resistance, and thermal shock resistance complete the performance profile.
It is sold by the box, with pricing shown per square foot. Each 83-pound box contains 3 pieces covering 20.38 square feet. The Sahara Sand line also includes 16x32 and 24x48 tiles, a 2x2 mosaic, and a 4x12 bullnose; 32x32 options include Caramel Noce and Riverstone Grey matte.
