A tall marble vessel, carved from one block
This rectangular vessel sink is carved from a single block of marble quarried in Turkey. It measures 14 inches wide, 16 inches long and 14 inches high, so it is as tall as it is wide: a deep, upright form that stands on the counter like a carved block. It is offered in two stones, Carrara White marble and Crema Marfil marble. Each basin is unique, with natural veining and coloration that will never be repeated, and it carries the weight and presence of solid stone.
Design
Square lines, softened edges
The finish is polished, giving the marble a luminous, mirror-like surface that catches the light and shows the depth of the stone. The edges are softly curved, which takes the hardness out of the rectangular geometry while keeping its clean, contemporary lines. The result works in modern, transitional and traditional bathrooms. The two stones give the same form two characters: Carrara White is a soft white with gray veining, and Crema Marfil is a warm cream. In either stone, moderate color variation between pieces is normal, and the curved edges and smooth surfaces leave no crevices where dirt can collect. Marble handles changes in water temperature well, and a polished surface keeps its shine through years of use when it is cared for.

Where to use it
A deep basin on the counter
At 14 by 16 inches, the footprint is compact enough for a standard vanity without awkward overhang, while the 14 inch height gives the sink real presence. It is the kind of fixture people stop to look at, and it suits a powder room where one strong piece sets the tone. The 4 cm drain hole accepts a standard drain fitting. Carrara White pairs with chrome, nickel or black hardware for a cooler look; Crema Marfil sits well with warm brass, bronze and wood.

Installation
Plan for a tall rim
This is an above-counter sink, and a solid marble block of this height is heavy, so the counter must be flat, level and strong. A drain hole is cut in the counter to line up with the 4 cm drain, and the sink is set in silicone. Because the rim stands 14 inches above the counter, most deck-mounted faucets will not reach over it, and a wall-mounted faucet is usually the right choice. That means planning the supply lines in the wall at the correct height, before the wall is closed. It is also worth checking the counter height, so that the rim lands at a comfortable level for washing. A professional installer is recommended.

The standard 14 by 16 by 14 inch size suits most vanities, but this sink to order can also be made in a custom size, shape or finish when a space calls for something different. Care
Both Carrara White and Crema Marfil are porous calcite marbles, so acids such as vinegar or lemon can etch the polished surface and strong pigments can stain it. Resealing keeps the stone protected, and how often depends on use.
