Product Description
Marmi de Rosso Viola Red is an 8x48 matte wood look porcelain plank with the appearance of richly veined marble. Its creamy white field is crossed by reddish brown movement inspired by Viola marble, giving the long format a directional, stone-like pattern. The red color family comes through primarily in the expressive veining rather than as a solid background.
The narrow 8x48 proportions draw the eye along the length of a kitchen, bathroom, or living room, while the matte finish keeps reflections subdued. V3 shade variation means noticeable differences occur from piece to piece, creating a more varied surface. Rectified edges give each 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, plank a precisely finished outline. It is rated for residential and commercial interior walls, shower walls, backsplashes, residential interior floors, light residential floors, and commercial interior floors.
Water absorption of 0.5% or less classifies this as impervious porcelain, meaning it takes up almost no water and resists staining from within in wet rooms. Breaking strength is at least 425 pounds, well above the 250-pound ANSI A137.1 minimum for floor tile. The material is also resistant to frost and thermal shock.
This plank is sold by the box, with pricing shown per square foot. Five pieces provide 12.78 square feet, and the box weighs 56 pounds. The same Viola Red line includes 12x24 and 24x48 tiles, plus 2x2 and 3 inch hexagon mosaics.
