A half round light travertine vessel
This half round vessel sink is carved individually from light beige travertine quarried in Turkey. It measures 10 inches wide, 16.3 inches long and 4.5 inches high, with a straight back and a curved front, so it fits a shallow vanity or the corner of a counter where a full round bowl would be too deep. Each piece is carved by hand, so no two are identical.
Design
Honed and filled, light beige
The finish is honed and filled. Filling closes the natural voids of the travertine, and honing leaves a smooth, matte surface that still shows the veining and soft colour of the stone without a mirror shine. Subtle colour variations and minor natural pitting within the stone are part of its character. The curved edges and smooth bowl leave no sharp angles where debris can collect, which keeps the sink simple to clean. The light beige tone is forgiving, showing fewer water spots and mineral deposits than darker travertine. The muted, matte surface catches light differently from a glossy stone, and it suits both modern and transitional bathrooms.

Where to use it
Made for narrow counters
At 10 inches wide, the sink suits a powder room, a narrow vanity or a small guest bath where counter depth is limited. The 16.3 inch length still gives enough room for washing hands. The 4.5 inch height keeps the rim low on the counter. The 1.5 inch drain opening takes standard drain fittings, so no special plumbing is needed.

Installation
Set it on a flat counter
The sink is installed over the countertop. The counter must be flat, level and strong enough for solid stone. A drain hole is cut in the counter to line up with the sink's drain, and the bowl is set in silicone around its base. The rim stands 4.5 inches above the counter, so the faucet must reach over it: a deck-mounted vessel faucet with enough height, or a wall-mounted spout. On a narrow counter, a wall-mounted spout often saves space, so choose the faucet before the counter is cut.

Care
Travertine is a porous calcite stone, so acids can etch the honed surface. The filling closes the open voids, and periodic resealing keeps moisture out; how often depends on use.
