Beige travertine in a drop-shaped bowl
This oval vessel sink is carved by hand from beige travertine quarried in Turkey. Its outline is a drop: rounded at one end and gently narrowing toward the other, with no sharp corners anywhere. It measures 14 inches wide, 20 inches long and 4.7 inches high. Each sink is carved individually, so the veining and color patterns in the stone are never repeated, and every bowl is one of a kind.

Design
A drop silhouette, polished and filled
The drop shape is practical as well as sculptural. With no corners, there is nowhere for debris to collect, and the curved floor helps water flow to the drain instead of standing in the bowl. The surface is polished and filled: the natural pits of the travertine are filled and the face is polished, which reduces the porous character of raw travertine while keeping its warm, organic look. Moderate color variation between sinks is normal, so each bowl shows its own tones and markings.

Sized for a standard vanity
At 20 inches long, 14 inches wide and 4.7 inches high, the bowl offers practical depth for washing without overwhelming a standard bathroom vanity, and its proportions fit most counter layouts. A vessel sink is a strong choice where design matters, because the basin itself becomes the focal point of the vanity. The beige suits a traditional bathroom. The 4 cm drain hole takes standard drain fittings.

Installation
A small hole, not a cutout
Vessel sinks are among the simplest to install. Most need no countertop cutout at all, only a small hole for the drain. The counter must still be flat, level and strong, because solid stone is heavy. The hole is cut to line up with the 4 cm drain, and the bowl is set in silicone. Before installation, check that the faucet height and spout reach suit a vessel sink: the faucet must clear the rim, so a tall deck-mounted vessel faucet or a wall-mounted spout is needed. A professional installer is recommended.

This sink is made to order on one of two schedules: the 3 to 4 week option ships sooner, while the 8 to 14 week option is the lower-priced choice. Care
Travertine is a porous calcite stone, so acids such as vinegar or lemon juice can etch it, even with the pits filled and the surface polished. Sealing keeps it resistant to stains, and how often it is resealed depends on use, at least once a year in a busy bathroom.
