A round bowl of beige travertine
This 16 inch round vessel sink is carved by hand from solid beige travertine quarried in Turkey, shaped by stone workers using traditional techniques. A vessel sink sits on top of the vanity rather than disappearing into it, so the bowl becomes the first thing seen in the room and the whole outside of the stone stays on show. The finish is honed and filled: a soft, matte surface in warm beige tones. No two sinks are the same. The subtle color veining, the natural pitting and the surface character of each bowl come from the stone itself, not from a printed pattern, and they differ from piece to piece. At 16 inches in diameter and 6 inches high, it is sized for standard bathroom vanities, large enough to make a statement without crowding the counter.
Design
Honed, filled and softly rounded
The honed and filled finish is the practical choice for a travertine bowl. Honing leaves the surface smooth but matte, so the stone shows its full warm character without glare, and it brightens slightly when wet. Filling closes the natural pits of the travertine, leaving fewer places for water and residue to settle. A matte face is also forgiving: everyday water marks and fingerprints are far less obvious on it than on a high-shine surface, and light dust and residue come away easily. The rim has a rounded edge treatment with no sharp corners to catch a hand or trap soap scum. The walls are 2 to 3 cm thick, which gives the bowl a solid, substantial feel. Because the stone is natural, moderate color variation between sinks is normal: one bowl may run a shade lighter or show more veining than the next.

Where the round bowl works
Warm beige sits comfortably in contemporary, minimalist and traditional bathrooms alike. It pairs with wood vanities, plaster or limewash walls, and aged brass or black fixtures. In a powder room the round bowl gives guests something to notice; in a primary bath it suits a double vanity, with two bowls side by side. Because it sits above the counter, the vessel design also leaves the space under the countertop free for storage, with no basin hanging below. The standard 4 cm drain opening works with typical vessel sink plumbing and common faucet configurations, so the choice of fixtures stays open. With a 6 inch height, the rim lands at a comfortable working level on a standard vanity.

Installation
A flat counter and a bead of silicone
Installation follows standard vessel sink practice. The countertop must be flat, level and strong enough for solid stone, and a drain hole is cut in it to line up with the 4 cm drain. A bead of silicone beneath the basin seats the bowl and keeps water from working underneath, and the weight of the travertine keeps it stable without additional mounting hardware in most bathrooms. Since the bowl stands 6 inches above the counter, the faucet must reach over the rim: a tall vessel faucet or a wall-mounted spout. Choose the faucet before the counter is cut so the holes and supply lines land in the right place. The sink arrives ready for the plumbing connection.

This sink is made to order on two schedules: the 3 to 4 week option ships sooner, while the 8 to 14 week option is the lower-priced choice. Both are the same 16 inch honed and filled bowl. Care
Travertine is a porous, calcite-based stone, so vinegar and other acidic products can etch its surface, and sealing helps keep moisture and stains out. How often it is resealed depends on how much the sink is used, from every few months in a busy bathroom to less often in a guest bath.
