Oasis Gold travertine in a tapered cone
This round vessel sink is handcrafted from solid Oasis Gold travertine quarried in Turkey, carved as a single piece. Every sink carries its own geological fingerprint: warm golden and orange tones, subtle veining and natural surface variation that cannot be repeated. The bowl tapers in a conical shape, a clean, contemporary form that keeps the organic warmth of the stone. At 16 inches in diameter and 6 inches high, it turns a vanity into a focal point while staying practical for everyday use.
Design
A cone, honed and filled
The sides of the bowl taper toward the base in a conical profile, so the sink looks lighter on the counter than its solid stone would suggest. The finish is honed and filled. Filling closes the surface pits of the travertine, so grime has fewer tiny voids to settle into, while honing keeps a matte face that shows the stone's distinctive character and hides water spots better than a glossy surface. The walls are 2 to 3 cm thick, giving the bowl density that holds up through daily use and temperature changes. Moderate color variation is normal for this stone, and the gold tones shift from piece to piece.

Sides that taper toward the base for a clean, contemporary outline.
Honed and filled
A matte surface with the natural pits of the travertine filled.
Where to use it
On the counter or under it
The sink is listed for above-counter or undermount installation, which gives some flexibility when planning a vanity. Set on top, the round 16 inch footprint gives depth and presence that a recessed basin cannot, and the bowl anchors a primary bathroom or a powder room equally well. Mounted under the counter, the warm stone still shows around the rim of the opening. The standard 4 cm drain hole fits common plumbing without special modifications.

Installation
Choose vessel or undermount early
Solid travertine is heavy, so the counter must be flat, level and strong in either case. As a vessel, the bowl sits on top over a drain hole cut to match the 4 cm drain, set in silicone, and the faucet must reach over a rim 6 inches above the counter: a tall vessel faucet or a wall-mounted spout. As an undermount, the counter cutout is sized to the sink and the bowl is supported from below. Decide which before the counter is fabricated, since the cutout and faucet holes depend on it.

This sink is made to order on two schedules: the 3 to 4 week option ships sooner, while the 8 to 14 week option is the lower-priced choice. Both are the same honed and filled bowl in the same size. Care
Travertine is a porous calcite stone, so acidic cleaners can etch the honed surface and abrasive scrubbing can wear it. Periodic resealing keeps up its resistance to stains, and how often depends on how much the sink is used.
