Product Description
Silvanus Cohiba Brown comes as a 24x24 matte porcelain tile shaped by the look of French oak. The deeper brown ground carries gentle grain lines and restrained knot details, bringing the visual depth of wood into a square tile. The pattern remains soft enough to support both contemporary and traditional interiors.
The 24x24 proportions create expansive fields with fewer pieces across a room, and the nonreflective matte surface keeps the brown tone grounded under changing light. Rectified edges define the geometry, while V3 shade variation gives adjacent tiles visibly different tones and markings. At 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thick, this tile is rated for home and commercial interior floors and walls. Approved settings include bathroom, kitchen, and living room floors, plus backsplashes and shower walls. Its IW designation applies to level indoor floors subject to wet conditions.
With water absorption no higher than 0.5%, the porcelain is impervious and absorbs almost no moisture. Its breaking strength reaches at least 425 pounds, exceeding the ANSI floor-tile minimum of 250 pounds. Mohs hardness measures 7.0, so the surface resists scratches caused by sand and grit. A wet DCOF of 0.42 or greater meets ANSI A326.3 criteria for level interior areas that become wet. Class E describes its chemical resistance, and the tile is also frost resistant and thermal shock resistant.
Boxes are priced per square foot and sold as complete units. Four pieces provide 15.46 square feet of coverage, with each box weighing 67 pounds. Royal Oak matte is the other Silvanus color offered in this 24x24 size.
