Product Description
Silvanus Royal Oak is a 24x24 matte porcelain tile with the appearance of warm brown French oak. Soft grain markings and small knots give the surface recognizable wood character without turning the pattern rustic. Its square format interprets oak in broad panels rather than traditional plank shapes.
Each tile is 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thick and has rectified edges for a crisp, orderly grid. The matte finish keeps reflections subdued, while V3 shade variation produces noticeable changes among pieces that make the floor or wall feel less uniform. It is rated for residential and commercial interior walls and floors, including shower walls, backsplashes, bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms. The IW classification covers level indoor floors exposed to water.
Water absorption of 0.5% or less makes this impervious porcelain, meaning it takes up almost no water and performs in wet rooms without staining from within. Breaking strength is at least 425 pounds, well above the 250-pound ANSI benchmark for floor tile. A Mohs hardness of 7.0 indicates resistance to scratching from grit and sand. Wet DCOF is at least 0.42, meeting the threshold for level interior floors that get wet. The surface has Class E chemical resistance and is resistant to frost and thermal shock.
Silvanus Royal Oak is sold by the box, with pricing shown per square foot. One 67-pound box contains four tiles and covers 15.46 square feet. Cohiba Brown matte offers the same 24x24 format in a deeper brown color.
