Product Description
Taj Opus Mirage Sand is offered as a 24x48 matte porcelain tile with beige marble character. Across the long surface, the Taj Mahal stone influence appears in gentle movement and fine shimmer. The warm Mirage Sand palette and low-reflection finish give expansive interior planes a quieter, more grounded appearance.
Measuring 24x48, this large rectangle stretches the direction of the stone pattern and reduces the number of separate tile sections across a room. Rectified edges define its outline, and the porcelain body is 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thick. V3 shade variation creates obvious differences in coloration and markings among pieces. Approved areas include residential and commercial interior floors and walls, shower walls, backsplashes, and residential light floors. The ANSI A326.3 ID category identifies level indoor floors kept dry.
The tile's absorption rate is 0.5% or less, making it impervious porcelain that takes on very little water and avoids internal staining. At least 425 pounds of breaking strength exceeds ANSI's 250-pound minimum for floor products. Wet DCOF measures 0.42 or greater, meeting the ANSI A326.3 benchmark for level interior floors exposed to water. Its technical characteristics further include Class E chemical resistance, frost resistance, and thermal-shock resistance.
Two tiles supply 15.49 square feet in each 67-pound box. It is sold by the box, with the price expressed per square foot. The Mirage Sand family continues in 12x24 tile, 24x24 tile, and a 2x2 mosaic. Emperial Grey matte appears in the matching 24x48 format.
