Light travertine console, filled and honed
This designer console is made from light travertine quarried in Turkey and hand-finished by stone specialists, with a filled and honed surface. It is a natural stone accent table for entryways, living rooms and hallways, and each piece is unique, with its own coloration and veining that no factory process can repeat. It measures 49 inches long, 12 inches wide and 31.5 inches high.
Design
Filled and honed, warm beige
The filled and honed finish is the technical detail that matters here. The natural voids in the travertine are filled, and the face is honed to a matte surface, which keeps the stone's warm, textured look while giving a more even top for everyday use. The palette runs from warm cream to soft brown tones, at home in minimalist rooms and in layered, collected ones, in contemporary spaces, traditional settings and everything between. The veining is the stone's own record of how it formed, so no two pieces are alike.

Slim enough for tight halls
At just 12 inches deep and 49 inches long, this console answers the real problem of a narrow hallway or a small entry: It anchors the wall without pushing into the walkway. The 31.5 inch height sits at hip to waist level, in line with standard entryway proportions. Display travertine vases, a line of sculptural branches and dried botanicals, or one statement lamp, or simply let the stone's natural veining be the focal point. Natural travertine is heavy, so plan for two or more people to carry the console in and set it down. Check doorways and corners on the way. A level floor lets it bear evenly and stand steady, and felt pads or a rug protect wood and tile underneath. Once it is in place, the weight of the stone keeps it stable under everyday use.

This console is made to order on two schedules. The 3 to 4 week option ships sooner, and the 8 to 14 week option is the lower priced choice for the same size and finish. Care
Travertine is a porous calcite stone. Filling closes its natural voids and gives a more even surface, but the stone itself stays porous, so acidic products such as vinegar or lemon can etch it and strong pigments can stain it if left to sit. Periodic resealing helps maintain the stone, and how often it is needed depends on use. There is no hidden fragility; it is simply honest natural stone.
