Product Description
Vayron Galaxy Black is a 12x24 matte porcelain tile modeled on dark Nero Marquina marble. A deep black ground is crossed by sharp white veining, producing a high-contrast stone pattern without a reflective surface. The rectangular format frames the directional veins in compact, easy-to-read sections.
At 12x24, the tile introduces a steady rectangular rhythm that suits both smaller planes and broad continuous areas. The matte finish keeps reflections subdued, allowing the black field and white lines to remain visually direct. V4 shade variation signals substantial differences in graphics and tone among tiles, which creates pronounced movement across a room. Rated settings include residential and commercial interior floors and walls, shower walls, backsplashes, and light-use residential floors in bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms.
Water absorption is 0.5% or less, qualifying the body as impervious porcelain that takes in almost no water. Its breaking strength is at least 425 pounds, comfortably beyond the 250-pound ANSI minimum for floor tile. The wet DCOF is at least 0.42. Technical characteristics also include Class B chemical resistance, frost resistance, and thermal shock resistance.
Pricing is shown per square foot, and the tile is sold by the box. Eight pieces provide 15.38 square feet of coverage, with a box weight of 67 pounds. Galaxy Black matte is also available in 24x24 and 24x48 tile, and those formats continue the same black marble direction at larger scales.
