Product Description
Vayron Galaxy Black arrives as a 24x24 matte porcelain tile with a dramatic marble look. Fine and forceful white veins cut across a deep black background in the manner of Nero Marquina stone. The square outline balances that irregular veining with an orderly underlying grid.
The 24x24 dimensions give each face enough area for the marble graphics to open up, while the matte finish limits glare and preserves the depth of the dark color. V4 variation creates strong changes in veining and tone between tiles, so a completed room has active, nonrepeating movement. This format is rated for residential and commercial interior floors and walls, along with shower walls, backsplashes, and light residential floors. Those applications cover bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms.
An absorption rate no higher than 0.5% makes this impervious porcelain, a category that admits almost no water into the tile body. Its minimum breaking strength of 425 pounds stands well above the 250-pound ANSI requirement for a floor tile. Wet DCOF reaches at least 0.42. The material is also resistant to frost and thermal shock and carries Class B chemical resistance.
The product is boxed for sale, although its price is displayed per square foot. Four tiles cover 15.46 square feet, and the full box weighs 67 pounds. Other Galaxy Black matte proportions are the narrower 12x24 tile and elongated 24x48 tile, both carrying the same white-on-black marble character.
