Product Description
Vayron Galaxy Black takes the form of a 24x48 matte porcelain tile inspired by black marble. Its near-black field is energized by crisp white veins reminiscent of Nero Marquina, with a low-sheen surface that keeps the contrast bold rather than glossy. The broad rectangle gives long vein passages room to remain visible.
This 24x48 scale produces expansive planes and fewer interruptions in the marble imagery than smaller formats. A matte finish softens reflected light across the dark face, while rectified edges establish a precise outline. With V4 variation, substantial graphic and tonal differences occur from tile to tile, resulting in assertive movement over a larger surface. Approved areas include residential and commercial interior walls and floors, shower walls, kitchen backsplashes, and light residential flooring in bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms.
No more than 0.5% water absorption places the body in the impervious porcelain class, so it absorbs almost no moisture. Breaking strength is at least 425 pounds, exceeding the 250-pound ANSI floor-tile standard. A wet DCOF value of at least 0.42 describes its measured traction. Class B chemical resistance is joined by resistance to frost and thermal shock.
Vayron Galaxy Black is sold in boxes, with the price expressed by square foot. Each 67-pound carton contains two tiles covering 15.49 square feet. The matte collection also includes 12x24 and 24x24 tile, which divide the same black field and sharp veining into smaller modules.
