Beige Travertine Natural Stone Vessel Bathroom Sink 16x6 Honed
Thank you, your request is in.
Our team will review the details and get back to you within one business day.

Travertine · Over-Countertop sink
This round vessel sink is carved by hand from solid beige travertine quarried in Turkey. At 16 inches in diameter and 6 inches high, it gives a powder room or primary bath a sculptural basin without taking over the counter. Each sink is carved individually, so the warm, earthy tones and natural veining are never repeated.
Design
The surface is honed and filled. Honing leaves the stone smooth but matte, showing its full character, and a matte face is less slippery when wet. Filling closes the natural pits of the travertine, leaving fewer places for water to collect. The rim is curved, with no sharp edges to catch a hand. Moderate color variation between sinks is normal for this stone.

Rounded edges with no sharp corners.

Where to use it
The light beige sits easily in contemporary, transitional and traditional bathrooms, against wood, plaster or painted vanities. At 16 inches across, the bowl suits a narrow powder room vanity and is still roomy enough for a primary bath. It mounts on top of the counter, with no undermount cutout to plan. The 4 cm drain hole takes standard drain connections, and the bowl works with a deck-mounted or wall-mounted faucet.

Installation
Solid stone is heavy, so the counter must be flat, level and strong. A drain hole is cut in the counter to line up with the 4 cm drain, and the bowl is set in silicone. Because it stands 6 inches above the counter, the faucet must reach over the rim: a tall vessel faucet or a wall-mounted spout. Choose the faucet before the counter is cut.
Why we chose it

Made to order
This sink is made to order on two schedules: the 3 to 4 week option ships sooner, while the 8 to 14 week option is the lower-priced choice. The bowl can also be made in a custom size or finish. To start a custom order, contact us with the measurements of the counter.
Travertine is a porous calcite stone, so acids such as citrus or vinegar can etch the honed surface, and sealing helps keep moisture and stains out. How often it is resealed depends on use, typically once or twice a year.
