This rectangular vessel sink is carved from Cappuccino Beige marble quarried in Turkey. The stone is a warm, milky beige with darker coffee-colored tones moving through it, and the pattern differs on every block, so each sink arrives as a one-of-a-kind piece. It measures 21.5 inches long, 18 inches wide and 5 inches high, with walls 2 to 3 cm thick. This is real quarried marble, cut and shaped from solid stone rather than cast in a mold, and it develops a gentle patina over years of use. The sink sits on top of the counter, so the full outline of the stone stays in view.
Design
Soft gloss, rounded edges
The finish is semi-polished. It brings out the warmth and depth of the stone without the high gloss of a fully polished surface, so the beige reads soft and even under bathroom lighting. The edges are smooth and curved rather than sharp, which looks calmer and leaves no tight corners where grime can gather. The rectangular footprint gives a generous basin without wasting counter space: the long side runs along the vanity, and the 18 inch depth leaves room in front for the faucet and a soap dish behind. Like all natural marble, the tone and pattern vary from piece to piece, and moderate variation between sinks is normal for this stone.
Semi-polished surface
A soft sheen that shows the warmth of the marble without a mirror gloss.
Curved edges
Smooth, rounded edges with no sharp corners to chip or to trap dirt.
Where to use it
Bathroom vanity or kitchen bar
In a bathroom, this sink works on a single vanity in a primary bath or as the main feature of a powder room. Its warm color pairs well with wood vanities and with brass or bronze fixtures, and it suits modern, transitional and traditional rooms alike. It is also rated for kitchen use, where a rectangular stone basin can serve a bar counter, a prep station or a butler's pantry. Because it is an above-counter vessel, there is no hidden rim under the counter where debris can collect, and the whole basin is easy to reach for cleaning. The faucet becomes part of the design here: a tall faucet or a wall-mounted spout sets the tone as much as the stone does.

Installation
A flat counter and one hole
As an over-countertop sink, it needs a flat, level surface strong enough to carry solid marble. The counter is drilled with a single hole for the drain, lined up with the 4 cm drain opening of the sink, and the sink is set in place with silicone. Plan the faucet before the counter is cut: a tall vessel faucet mounted on the counter or a faucet mounted on the wall behind, positioned so the spout reaches comfortably over the 5 inch rim. An experienced installer or plumber is recommended so the drain and supply line up cleanly.

Each sink is made to order on one of two production schedules. The 3 to 4 week option ships sooner, while the 8 to 14 week option is the lower-priced choice. If the standard 21.5 by 18 inch size does not fit the vanity or the kitchen layout, the sink can be made in a custom size, shape or finish. Care
Cappuccino Beige is a calcite marble, and like all marble it is a porous stone: acidic liquids can etch it and strong pigments can stain it if left to sit. It is sealed with a natural stone sealer, and how often it is resealed depends on how much the sink is used and how much moisture it sees.
