Cappuccino Beige marble in a tapered bowl
This vessel sink is carved by hand from Cappuccino Beige marble quarried in Turkey. The bowl is tapered: wide at the rim and narrowing toward the base in a V-shaped, conical profile, so it looks lighter on the counter than its size suggests. It measures 16 inches in diameter and 6 inches high. The stone is a warm beige with soft veining and mineral inclusions, and because each bowl is carved from natural marble, those markings are never repeated. Even two sinks cut from the same block will differ.
Design
A V-shaped profile in warm beige
Stone can be carved into forms a mold cannot make, and this bowl shows it: a subtle curve down the sides, a rim with real weight and a base that tapers in. The taper does practical work too, guiding water toward the drain. The sink is polished inside and out, giving it a soft, lustrous shine that brings out the warm tones of the stone, and the smooth surface sheds water instead of letting it pool. There are no corners in the bowl for dirt to collect in, which keeps daily cleaning quick. Moderate color variation is normal for this marble; some bowls lean lighter, some carry more veining, and the exact tone will differ from piece to piece.

Where to use it
Warm beige for a transitional bath
A vessel sink sits on top of the counter rather than being set into it, so the whole carved form stays visible, and the taper is easy to appreciate from every angle. The warm undertones of Cappuccino Beige work in contemporary, traditional and transitional bathrooms alike. It blends with warm wood vanities, neutral tile and brass fixtures without competing with them, and against a darker counter the beige reads lighter still. At 16 inches across, the bowl suits a powder room or a primary bath. The standard 4 cm drain hole connects to ordinary bathroom plumbing without changes.

Installation
Flat counter, tall faucet
The bowl mounts above the counter, which keeps installation simple, but solid marble is heavy, so the counter must be flat, level and strong. A drain hole is cut in the counter to match the 4 cm drain, and the sink is set in silicone. The bowl stands 6 inches high, so the faucet must clear the rim: a tall vessel faucet on the deck, or a wall-mounted spout. Because the bowl narrows toward the base, its footprint on the counter is smaller than the rim, which leaves a little more room around it. Pick the faucet before the counter is cut, and use a professional installer if the counter needs drilling.

Two production schedules
This sink is made to order on one of two schedules: the 3 to 4 week option ships sooner, while the 8 to 14 week option is the lower-priced choice. Both are the same 16 by 6 inch polished bowl. It can also be carved in a custom size or finish when the standard bowl does not fit the plan. To start a custom order, contact us with the measurements of the counter.
Care
Cappuccino Beige is a porous calcite marble, so acids such as vinegar and lemon can etch the polished surface and wear down the sealer. Sealing protects the stone, and how often it is resealed depends on use, commonly once a year.
