Fluted Carrara White, honed and solid
This vanity sink is handcrafted from a single solid block of Carrara White marble by artisans in Turkey. It measures 16 inches wide, 28 inches long and 6 inches high, and it can be hung on the wall or set on top of a vanity. Each piece has its own natural veining and color variation, so the sink is one of a kind rather than a catalog copy. The exterior is fluted, the finish is honed, and the whole piece is carved from one block, with no joints or grout lines.
Design
Vertical flutes, matte white stone
The defining detail is the fluted exterior: vertical grooves carved into the stone that give the basin visual depth and a sculptural presence. They catch light and shadow differently through the day, so the face of the sink changes as the light moves. The honed finish leaves a soft, matte surface that shows the grain of the marble without a high shine, which suits the industrial, architectural character of the piece. The surround is carved from the same block as the basin, so the sink reads as one monolithic object. Moderate color variation between pieces is normal for this marble, and the gray veining runs differently across each sink.

Where to use it
Wall or vanity, any faucet
The sink arrives without pre-drilled faucet holes, so the faucet can go exactly where the layout needs it: a single-hole fixture, a widespread set or a wall-mounted spout. Hung on the wall, it floats above the floor and keeps the room open; set on a vanity, it works as a countertop vessel sink. At 28 by 16 inches the basin is generous, and the 6 inch height gives comfortable use without losing the sculptural form. The white marble and fluting suit an industrial or modern bathroom and sit well with brass, black or nickel fittings. A standard 1.5 inch drain hole works with conventional plumbing.

Installation
Plan support and faucet together
Solid marble is heavy. For a wall installation, the wall needs blocking between the studs at the mounting height, added while the wall is open, and the sink hangs on brackets fixed into that backing. Decide on the faucet early: with no pre-drilled holes, a wall-mounted faucet needs its supply lines set before the wall is closed. On a vanity, the top must be flat, level and strong, a drain hole is cut to line up with the drain, and the sink is set in silicone. A professional installer is recommended for the weight and the plumbing.

Care
Carrara White is a calcite marble and, like all marble, a porous stone, so acidic liquids such as vinegar or lemon juice can etch the honed surface. Kept sealed with a penetrating sealer, it resists water, and how often it is resealed depends on use.
