Product Description
Cemento Couture Sand measures 24x48 as a lappato porcelain tile with a warm beige concrete look. The design blends the quiet variation of stone with the restrained character of cement. A lightly reflective lappato finish gives the large surface visual depth, while Sand sits at the warm end of a neutral collection spanning gray and charcoal.
Its elongated 24x48 format draws the eye across broad planes and gives the subtle mineral pattern room to develop. The rectified tile is 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thick. V2 shade variation creates gentle shifts between pieces, keeping the overall field controlled. It is rated for residential and commercial interior floors and walls, including shower walls and backsplashes, in bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms. An IW classification denotes level interior floors that become wet.
At 0.5% or less, water absorption qualifies the body as impervious porcelain with almost no moisture uptake. Breaking strength is at least 425 pounds, exceeding the ANSI A137.1 requirement of 250 pounds for floor tile. Mohs hardness is 7, indicating resistance to scratches from grit and sand. A wet DCOF of at least 0.42 meets ANSI A326.3 for level wet indoor floors. Class A chemical resistance, frost resistance, and thermal shock resistance are also present.
The tile is sold in 67-pound boxes and priced per square foot. Two pieces cover 15.49 square feet. Coordinating Sand selections include 12x24 and 24x24 tiles, a 3x12 bullnose, and a 2x2 mosaic.
