Product Description
Cemento Couture Sand is a 24x48 matte porcelain tile with a warm beige concrete look. Its surface blends the visual weight of cement with subtle stone character, creating a neutral field suited to contemporary and transitional interiors. Sand is the warmest of the three tones in the Cemento Couture series, alongside gray Smoke and deep charcoal Atmosphere.
The broad rectangular format reduces the number of visual breaks across a floor or wall, while the matte finish keeps reflections subdued. V2 shade variation produces slight shifts from tile to tile without strong color swings. Rectified edges give each 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, tile a precise outline. This tile is rated for residential and commercial interior walls and floors, including shower walls, backsplashes, bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms. Its IW classification covers level indoor floors that become wet.
Water absorption of 0.5% or less classifies this porcelain as impervious, meaning it takes up almost no water and will not stain from within. Breaking strength of at least 425 pounds exceeds the 250-pound ANSI benchmark for floor tile. Mohs hardness of 7.0 indicates resistance to scratching from grit and sand. Wet DCOF of at least 0.42 meets the threshold for level interior floors exposed to water. The surface has Class A chemical resistance and is resistant to frost and thermal shock.
Cemento Couture Sand is sold by the box, with pricing shown per square foot. Each 67-pound box contains two tiles covering 15.49 square feet. The Sand line also includes 12x24 tile, 24x24 tile, a 3x12 bullnose, and a 2x2 mosaic.
