Product Description
Cemento Couture Sand takes shape as a 4 inch matte porcelain mosaic with a hexagon pattern. The warm beige face draws from both concrete and natural stone, giving the neutral color a grounded mineral appearance rather than a plain monochrome field.
Broad hexagons form a honeycomb geometry that remains legible across shower surfaces, bathroom floors, and backsplashes. A matte finish keeps glare low and emphasizes the outlines between individual pieces. With V2 shade variation, tonal changes stay subtle and create quiet movement across the pattern. The mosaic is rated for backsplashes, shower walls and floors, residential interior walls, and bathroom floors and walls.
Water absorption does not exceed 0.5%, the ANSI definition of impervious porcelain, so the body takes in almost no water. Breaking strength is 425 pounds or greater, comfortably surpassing the 250-pound ANSI floor-tile standard. Rated at Mohs 7, the surface resists scratches associated with sand and grit. Wet DCOF measures at least 0.42 and meets ANSI A326.3 requirements for level indoor floors that encounter water. Additional properties include Class A chemical resistance and resistance to frost and thermal shock.
Each sheet provides 0.89 square foot of coverage and is sold individually. A box holds five pieces with a total weight of 18 pounds. Sand continues in 12x24 tile and a 3x12 bullnose, while Smoke matte and Atmosphere matte offer other 4 inch hexagon colors.
