This low side table is made in Turkey from bent mild steel. The round top is 24 inches in diameter and the table stands 16 inches high, with a matte finish. It is a quiet, intentional piece: a steel frame and a circular top, with no drawers, shelves or decoration added to the form. The design leans on honest material and visible construction rather than ornament. It is built for function first, with the restraint that makes a minimal piece actually minimal.

Design

One bent sheet of steel

The defining feature is the C-shaped base, bent from the same steel as the top. The curve lets the table tuck beside a sofa, an accent chair or a bed without taking more floor than it needs, and it keeps the piece visually light even though the construction is solid. The steel is 4 mm thick, substantial enough for everyday use. Outside surfaces carry a protective paint finish, while the inner faces and the underside have a clear varnish coat, so the true steel character shows only from certain angles. Each table carries small marks of how it was made: slight colour shifts, steel patterns and gentle press marks from bending. These are signs of a piece made individually, not stamped out in a long run, and the edges are finely finished so the round profile feels considered rather than crude.
