Beige travertine, a honed round bowl
This round vessel sink is carved by hand from beige travertine quarried in Turkey. It is 16 inches in diameter and 6 inches high, with walls 2 to 3 cm thick. Warm beige tones and organic veining give it a natural character, and because each piece is carved individually, no two sinks are identical.
Design
A matte, honed surface
The honed finish is a deliberate choice. Instead of a glossy surface, honing leaves the travertine smooth and matte, which gives it a natural look and shows all the detail of the stone. The edges are smooth and curved, so there are no debris traps around the rim, and daily cleaning stays simple. Each bowl carries its own subtle color variation and veining pattern, and moderate variation between sinks is normal for travertine.

Where to use it
A warm bowl for the vanity
The warm beige works with modern, contemporary, traditional and transitional bathrooms. The round bowl sits well on dark wood, a light vanity or a contrasting counter. At 16 inches across and 6 inches high, it fits a standard vanity without overwhelming a smaller bathroom. The sink is also listed for kitchen use, for example as a bar or prep sink. The 4 cm drain hole takes typical plumbing without modification, and the bowl has no overflow, which gives it a cleaner profile.

Installation
No architectural changes
The bowl sits above the counter, so no cutout for the basin is needed, only a drain hole. The counter must be flat, level and strong enough for solid stone. The drain hole is cut to line up with the 4 cm drain, and the bowl is set in silicone. The rim stands 6 inches above the counter, so pair it with a tall vessel faucet or a wall-mounted spout.

Care
Travertine is a porous calcite stone, so acidic cleaners and liquids can etch the honed surface. Periodic resealing maintains its protective barrier, and how often depends on use.
