A round travertine pumpkin bowl
This round vessel sink is handcrafted from beige travertine quarried and finished in Turkey, shaped with a soft pumpkin silhouette. It measures 16 inches in diameter and 6 inches high, with walls 2 to 3 cm thick. Travertine has an organic, textured character, and each sink shows its own colour variation and grain, so no two are identical. Raised on the counter, the bowl turns a plain vanity into a sculptural focal point and puts the basin at a comfortable height for washing.

Design
Honed and filled, curved inside
The finish is honed and filled. Honing gives a smooth matte face with a quiet, natural look. Filling closes the characteristic pits of the travertine, and the sink arrives sealed, which helps keep mineral deposits out of the stone. The pumpkin silhouette has curved edges and a smooth, continuous interior with no awkward crevices where dirt can collect, so daily cleaning is straightforward, and the rounded basin helps reduce splashing. The natural pitting and organic texture of travertine give the stone depth and warmth, and moderate colour variation between sinks is normal: Each bowl is its own piece of stone.

A neutral anchor for the vanity
The light beige tone works in minimalist, transitional, traditional and modern bathrooms, as a neutral anchor that pairs with a floating vanity and matte black faucet just as well as with a warm wood vanity and brass fittings. At 16 inches across and 6 inches high, the bowl fits a range of vanity sizes without crowding the counter. A raised vessel also brings the basin closer to the hands, which makes hand washing more comfortable and reduces bending during daily routines. The 4 cm drain hole takes standard drain fittings, and the bowl pairs with a tall vessel faucet or a wall-mounted spout.

Installation
Set it on a flat counter
This is a vessel sink that sits on top of the counter. Solid travertine is heavy, so the counter must be flat, level and strong enough to carry it. A drain hole is cut in the counter to line up with the 4 cm drain, and the bowl is set in silicone to hold it and seal the joint. Because the rim stands 6 inches above the counter, the faucet must reach over it: a tall deck-mounted vessel faucet or a wall-mounted spout. Choose the faucet before the counter is cut, so the faucet hole or the wall supply lines can be placed to suit the bowl.

Travertine is a porous calcite stone, and acids can etch it. This sink arrives filled and sealed, and resealing keeps it resistant to stains and mineral deposits, how often depending on use, typically once a year.
