A round light travertine bowl
This round sink is carved by hand from light beige travertine quarried in Turkey. It measures 14 inches in diameter and 6 inches high, with walls 2 to 3 cm thick. The coloring and veining vary naturally across the stone, so each bowl is one of a kind, and those variations are a mark of real travertine rather than a flaw.
Design
Honed, filled and gently curved
Travertine has small natural holes in it. On this bowl they are filled, and the surface is honed smooth, which keeps the natural character of the stone while giving a matte surface suited to daily use. The edges curve gently, with few places for debris to collect, so the bowl is quick to clean. Moderate variation in color and veining between pieces is normal.

A rounded rim and bowl with no tight corners.
Where to use it
A small bowl for many vanities
At 14 inches across, this bowl fits a powder room, a guest bath or a narrow vanity. The light beige suits Mediterranean, rustic, contemporary and transitional rooms, and sits comfortably next to marble counters, wood vanities and satin nickel fixtures. The bowl has no overflow, which keeps the plumbing simple, and the 4 cm drain hole takes standard fittings.

Installation
Vessel or drop-in
The sink can sit on top of the counter as a vessel or be dropped into a cutout. As a vessel, the counter must be flat and level with a single drain hole, and the bowl is set in silicone. As a drop-in, the opening is cut to fit the sink. Choose the faucet early: a tall vessel faucet or a wall-mounted faucet for a vessel setting.

Two production schedules
This sink is made to order. The 3 to 4 week option ships sooner, while the 8 to 14 week option is the lower-priced choice. Custom sizes and finishes are also available; contact us with the measurements of the vanity.
Care
Travertine is a porous calcite stone, so acids and harsh chemicals can etch it. Periodic resealing keeps up its protection, and how often depends on how much the sink is used.
