Sirius Silver marble, a round bowl
This round sink is carved by hand from Sirius Silver marble quarried in Turkey. It measures 16 inches in diameter and 6 inches high, with walls 2 to 3 cm thick, and each bowl is cut individually, so no two are the same. The marble is a soft gray with natural veining, and the polished finish brings that veining forward. It is a self-rimming bowl: It can sit on the counter as a vessel or drop into an opening in the vanity.
Design
Soft gray, polished to a shine
The polished surface deepens the gray of the stone and makes its veining easier to see, while keeping the bowl smooth to the touch. Variation is moderate: some bowls are lighter and more silver, others darker with stronger lines, and each piece shows its own pattern rather than a uniform colour. That is a sign of real stone, not a manufacturing flaw. The bowl has curved walls and rounded edges, which collect less debris than sharp corners and keep the outline clean. Natural marble also develops character with age, and if a marble sink is chipped or scratched, a skilled stone restorer can often bring it back.

Where to use it
Bathroom, powder room or kitchen
The soft gray tones sit easily in modern, contemporary, traditional and transitional bathrooms. Paired with satin brass, warm wood or matte black fittings, the bowl becomes a focal point without competing with the rest of the room. At 16 inches across it suits a single powder room refresh or a full bathroom renovation, and it is listed for kitchen use as well, as a bar or prep sink. The 4 cm drain works with standard drain fittings, so no adapters are needed.

Installation
Above the counter or dropped in
The sink can be installed two ways. Above the counter, it sits on a flat, level surface over a drain hole cut to match the 4 cm drain and is set in silicone; the rim then stands 6 inches above the counter, so a tall vessel faucet or a wall-mounted faucet is needed. As a drop-in, the counter is cut to the size of the bowl and the rim rests on the counter around the opening, which lowers the bowl and allows a standard height faucet. Either way the counter must be strong enough for solid stone, and the faucet should be chosen before the counter is cut.

Care
Sirius Silver is a porous calcite marble with a polished surface. Acids such as coffee, wine or citrus can etch it, and sealing helps keep toothpaste, cosmetics and soap from staining it. How often it is resealed depends on use, often about once a year.
