Tundra Grey marble, a round polished bowl
This round vessel sink is hand-finished from Tundra Grey marble quarried in Turkey. It measures 16.5 inches in diameter and 6 inches high, and it sits on top of the counter as a solid bowl of gray stone. Turkish marbles are known for bold patterns and strong veining, and Tundra Grey shows distinctive gray tones crossed by lighter and darker veins. Those markings formed in the stone over millions of years, so each sink has its own veining, colour variations and organic patterns. No two are identical, and the one that arrives is a single piece.
Design
Polished gray, inside and out
The sink is polished on the inside and the outside. Polishing closes the surface of the marble and gives it a glossy face, which brings out the contrast in the veining and gives the stone some protection against staining. The bowl has smooth, rounded edges with no sharp corners, which makes daily cleaning simple. The walls are solid marble, 2 to 3 cm thick. Moderate variation in colour and veining between sinks is normal for this stone. Some pieces lean lighter, others show more contrast, and those differences are a mark of natural stone, not a manufacturing flaw.

Gray stone for many styles
A gray marble bowl is a flexible choice. It suits a minimalist, Japandi-style room in pale wood, a rustic Mediterranean bathroom with plaster walls, or a bold contemporary space with dark tile. The 6 inch height sits well on a standard vanity without rising too far above it, and the 16.5 inch diameter gives a comfortable basin on a single vanity. The standard 4 cm center drain takes conventional drain fittings without modification.

Installation
A strong counter and a tall faucet
Solid marble is heavy, so the vanity structure must be able to carry the weight, and the counter must be flat and level. A drain hole is cut in the counter to line up with the 4 cm drain, and the bowl is set in silicone around its base. The rim stands 6 inches above the counter, so the faucet must reach over it: a tall deck-mounted vessel faucet or a wall-mounted spout. Choose the faucet before the counter is cut. The sink arrives ready for professional installation.

Care
Tundra Grey is a calcite marble, so it is a porous stone: acidic or abrasive substances can etch and dull the polished surface. Sealing protects the stone, and how often it is resealed depends on use, often once a year.
