A compact fluted sink in New York marble
This wall-mount sink is carved by hand from a single block of New York marble quarried in Turkey. At 12 inches wide, 20 inches long and 5 inches high, it is sized for compact bathrooms, and it hangs on the wall with no pedestal and no countertop bulk underneath. That frees up floor space and gives a small room a calm, hotel-like look. The front is hand-carved with fluting, and the finish is polished. Because each sink comes from its own block, the veining is as individual as a fingerprint, and no two pieces repeat.

Design
Fine flutes on a white front
Hand-carved fluting runs along the exterior, and the linear grooves create soft shadows and a quiet sense of movement. Inside, the polished basin shows the character of the stone: bold veining, subtle color variation and organic movement in a white ground. The basin slopes smoothly toward the center for efficient drainage, and the 5 inch height is set for comfortable use. Turkish marble is known for its distinctive vein patterns, and moderate color variation from sink to sink is normal.

Where to use it
Built for small bathrooms
Wall-mounted sinks solve a real problem in rooms with little floor area. In a powder room, a guest bath or a tight primary bathroom, this rectangular basin gives the presence of a larger sink without its footprint. The floating installation shows the floor or tile beneath, so a small bathroom looks considered rather than squeezed. Lighter use in a guest bath or powder room keeps the marble looking its best. It can also sit on top of a vanity. The sink comes with a standard 1.5 inch drain and is set up for 1 inch wall-mount brackets.

Installation
Reinforce, then hang
Installation is straightforward with proper wall reinforcement. Marble is heavy even at this compact size, so the wall needs blocking between the studs at the mounting height, added while the wall is open. The sink is hung on 1 inch brackets. A wall-mounted faucet is the usual pairing; fix its rough-in before the wall is closed so the spout lines up with the basin. If the sink sits on a vanity instead, the top must be flat, level and strong, with the sink set in silicone. The piece arrives ready for professional installation, with no custom modifications needed.

Care
New York marble is a porous calcite stone, and acidic products can etch its polished surface. The basin is sealed to protect against water absorption, and how often it is resealed depends on how much the bathroom is used.
