Product Description
Pietra Marme de Milano White 12x14 matte porcelain mosaic features a craft hexagon pattern with the appearance of white marble. Closely drawn gray veins cross the pale surface in branching lines inspired by Invisible Gray marble. The shaped pieces give that organic pattern an angular rhythm without changing its restrained white and gray coloring.
Across a wall or floor, the 12x14 sheet creates a more intricate outline than a conventional hexagon. Its matte finish softens reflected light, while V3 variation allows clearly perceptible shifts from piece to piece. The 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thickness supports a substantial profile. Ratings cover backsplashes, residential interior and shower walls, shower floors, and bathroom floors and walls, making it relevant to both kitchens and bathrooms.
This porcelain absorbs no more than 0.5% water, the ANSI A137.1 threshold for impervious tile. In practical terms, the body takes in almost no moisture. A breaking strength of at least 425 pounds exceeds the 250-pound floor-tile benchmark by a wide margin. Frost resistance and thermal shock resistance are both confirmed.
Sheets are the sales unit, and one sheet accounts for 0.82 square feet. There are 5 pieces in a 17-pound box. The same White design also appears as 12x24 and 24x24 field tile, a 2x2 mosaic, and a 3 inch hexagon mosaic.
