Product Description
Taj Opus Palace White 4 inch hexagon matte porcelain mosaic brings a marble look to a crisp geometric format. Its white field carries the fine shimmer and stone-like movement associated with Taj Mahal, while the matte surface keeps reflections subdued. The 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thickness gives each hexagon a substantial profile.
The compact pattern introduces frequent joints and a clear honeycomb rhythm across bathroom and kitchen surfaces. V3 shade variation means noticeable differences occur from piece to piece, creating movement rather than a uniform field. This mosaic is rated for backsplashes, residential interior walls, shower walls, shower floors, and bathroom floors and walls.
Water absorption of 0.5% or less defines impervious porcelain, meaning the body takes up almost no water and does not stain from within. Breaking strength is at least 425 pounds, well above the 250-pound ANSI benchmark for floor tile. Wet DCOF is at least 0.42, the ANSI A326.3 threshold for level indoor floors that become wet. The surface has Class E chemical resistance and is resistant to frost and thermal shock.
Sold by the sheet, each sheet covers 0.89 square foot. A box contains 5 sheets and weighs 18 pounds. Palace White also comes as 12x24, 24x24, and 24x48 tile, plus a 2x2 mosaic.
