Product Description
Taj Opus Palace White 2x2 polished porcelain mosaic divides a white marble look into small, reflective squares. The surface carries delicate shimmer and stone-like movement influenced by Taj Mahal, giving each polished piece changing highlights. Its 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thickness matches the substantial construction of the larger tile formats in the line.
Numerous 2x2 pieces create a finer grid and more frequent joints than field tile, while the polish brings brightness to compact bathroom and kitchen areas. With V3 shade variation, color and pattern shift noticeably across the sheet, preventing the white field from appearing mechanically uniform. Rated applications are backsplashes, shower walls, and residential interior walls.
Absorption is limited to 0.5% or less, qualifying the porcelain as impervious and indicating that its body takes in almost no water. A breaking strength of at least 425 pounds stands above the 250-pound ANSI minimum associated with floor tile. Wet DCOF reaches at least 0.42, the ANSI A326.3 benchmark for level indoor floors exposed to water. Class E chemical resistance is joined by resistance to frost and thermal shock.
The mosaic is sold by the sheet, with 0.97 square foot on each sheet. Ten sheets weigh 38 pounds per box. Palace White companions include 12x24, 24x24, and 24x48 tile, along with a 4 inch hexagon mosaic.
