The surface is honed and filled, smooth to the touch and comfortable for daily use. The sink measures 16 inches wide, 30 inches long and 5 inches high, a long, shallow form that reads as a single carved slab on the wall. Each piece is one of a kind, with veining and texture that differ from every other sink cut from the same quarry. It suits a homeowner or designer who wants a bathroom that feels genuinely made by hand rather than produced on a line.

A shallow slab, honed and filled
The proportions are what set this sink apart. At 30 inches long and only 5 inches high, it has the look of a carved trough rather than a bowl, wide enough for a single generous basin and low enough to keep a clean, horizontal line on the wall. The honed and filled finish keeps the stone matte and natural. Honing smooths the surface without polishing it to a shine, and filling closes the natural pits of the travertine so the face stays smooth and practical for everyday washing. The light beige ground carries soft movement in cream, sand and pale honey, and each sink has its own pattern of veining and texture. Travertine is a stone with moderate color variation, so tone and markings will differ from piece to piece.

Installation
Reinforce the wall first
As with any wall-hung fixture, wall mounting requires proper reinforcement, and solid travertine at this length is heavy. Blocking between the studs at the mounting height gives the brackets solid backing, and it is easiest to add while the wall is open. Because the sink has no deck for a faucet, a wall-mounted faucet is the usual pairing, and the water lines should be positioned before the wall is closed so the spout lands over the basin. If the sink sits on a vanity instead, the top must be flat, level and strong, with the sink set in silicone. Professional installation is recommended to ensure secure mounting and correct water line positioning.

Care
Travertine is a porous calcite stone. Acids can etch the honed surface, and the filled face reduces, but does not remove, its porosity, so sealing helps keep moisture and stains out. How often it is resealed depends on use, roughly once a year and more often in a busy bathroom.
