Product Description
Tuxedo Black and White is a 2x2 polished porcelain mosaic with a crisp solid-color pattern. Black and white pieces create strong graphic contrast, while the reflective surface brings light across the small-format geometry. This mosaic belongs to a coordinated line of solid black and two-color field tiles, trim, and patterned mosaics.
The 2x2 format produces a closely jointed surface with a measured, compact rhythm. Its polished finish emphasizes the contrast between the two colors, and V1 shade variation means the color remains highly consistent from piece to piece. Rated applications include kitchen backsplashes, shower walls, and residential interior walls in bathrooms and kitchens.
Water absorption of 0.5% or less classifies this as impervious porcelain, meaning it takes up almost no water and does not stain from within. Breaking strength is at least 325 pounds, above the 250-pound ANSI A137.1 benchmark for floor tile. Wet DCOF is at least 0.42, the ANSI A326.3 threshold for level indoor floors that become wet. The porcelain is also resistant to frost and thermal shock.
This mosaic is sold by the sheet, with each sheet covering 0.97 square foot. A box contains 10 pieces and weighs 38 pounds. The Black and White palette also comes in 3 inch hexagon and diamond mosaics, while the 2x2 format is available in Obsidian Black matte and Obsidian Black polished.
