White limestone with a hidden drain
This rectangular vessel sink is made by hand in Turkey from natural white limestone. It measures 18 inches wide, 21.4 inches long and 4 inches high, proportions that suit a real bathroom vanity, and the walls are 2 to 3 cm thick. No two sinks are identical: the stone shifts gently in tone, from white toward cream, and the honed surface shows that variation quietly.
Design
Honed limestone, clean lines
The finish is honed, a matte surface that feels smooth and velvety under the hand. It hides water spots and fingerprints better than a gloss, which makes it practical for daily use. The colour variation is moderate, and the subtle shifts in tone are not defects; they are the stone itself. The edges are curved, which simplifies cleaning and leaves no stubborn corners where water can pool. The drain is hidden, so the 4 cm opening sits out of sight and the basin keeps clean, uninterrupted lines, a detail that suits an industrial or minimal bathroom.

Where to use it
On the counter or under it
The sink can be installed above the counter, where it becomes the focal point of the vanity, or as an undermount for a more integrated look. The 4 inch height works with most vanity configurations in either position. Limestone has been used in building for centuries because it lasts, and this basin is made for daily use, not just for show. White stone works with pale wood, concrete-look walls and black or satin brass fittings.

Installation
Two ways to install it
Above the counter, the sink sits on a flat, level, strong surface over a drain hole cut to match the 4 cm drain and is set in silicone; the faucet then needs to reach over the 4 inch rim, so a tall deck faucet or a wall-mounted one works best. As an undermount, the counter opening is cut to the size of the sink and the sink is supported from below, which lets a standard faucet be mounted on the counter. In both cases solid limestone is heavy, and a professional installer is recommended.

Care
Limestone is a soft, porous calcite stone. Acids such as vinegar and lemon can etch it, and it is sealed to keep stains out; how often it is resealed depends on water quality, humidity and use, typically every 1 to 3 years.
