A fluted Calacatta Viola corner sink
This corner sink is carved by hand from a single block of Calacatta Viola marble quarried in Turkey. It is shaped to fit into the corner of a room, measuring 16 inches wide, 16 inches long and 8 inches high, and it hangs on the wall, so it uses space that is often wasted and leaves the floor open. That makes it a natural fit for compact bathrooms, powder rooms and guest baths. The marble is white with dark veining, and every sink is carved from its own block, so no two are identical.
Design
Fluted outside, polished inside
The exterior is carved with fluted grooves that run around the front of the sink and catch the light, giving the stone a strong vertical texture. The interior basin is polished, a smooth and practical surface for daily washing that shows the veining clearly. An 8 inch backsplash is part of the piece, protecting the corner walls from water and continuing the marble upward, so less separate tile is needed behind the sink. The edges are curved, with no sharp corners, which makes cleaning simpler. The stone is 2 to 3 cm thick, solid marble throughout. Moderate color variation between pieces is normal, and the veining of each sink will be different.

Where to use it
Made for tight corners
A corner sink frees the straight runs of wall for a toilet, a door swing or storage, which is why it suits small powder rooms and guest baths where every inch counts. Mounted on the wall, it leaves the floor below clear and easy to clean. It can also sit above a floating shelf or small vanity in the corner if storage is wanted. The 4 cm drain hole takes standard drain fittings. White marble with dark veining works with brass, nickel or black fittings and with plain plaster or tiled walls.

Installation
Block both corner walls
Solid marble is heavy, so the corner needs solid backing before the sink is hung. Blocking should be fitted between the studs of the corner walls at the mounting height, ideally while the walls are open, so the wall brackets have something strong to fix into. The faucet should be planned at the same time: a wall-mounted faucet needs its supply lines run at the right height above the basin. A professional installer is recommended, both for the weight and to line up the drain and supply lines cleanly in a tight corner.

Care
Calacatta Viola is a porous calcite marble, so acids can etch the polished interior, and sealing helps it resist water absorption and staining. How often it is resealed depends on how much the sink is used.
