How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

This polished Blue de Savoie bundle comes from the same block as the honed slabs on our site. The slab is 3/4 inch thick and 77x108 in. Polish makes the blue gray marble darker and glossier. Stock is on request, and pricing is by quote.

Design

Polished Blue de Savoie, cooler and deeper

Polish changes the stone more than you might expect. The ground turns a deeper steel blue, and the charcoal veins sharpen into clear lines. Light reflects off the face. Next to the honed bundles it looks like a different marble, though the vein map is the same, which lets a designer use honed on a counter and polished on a wall from one block.
