How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Breccia Capraia Extra is a white marble broken into fragments and veined in green gray and violet. This honed block is cut into slabs 3/4 inch thick, about 75x77 in, close to square. Five photos of it are on this page. Stock is on request, by quote.

Design

Green gray breccia on a white Capraia ground

Large white fragments float in dark seams of green gray, with violet and plum showing where the seams widen. It looks dramatic even honed. The near square slab shape suits a vanity, a tub surround or a fireplace face better than a long counter. Look through all five photos, because the density of the seams changes from one side of the block to the other.

Where to use it

Honed Capraia Extra slabs at 75x77 in

It is rated for residential countertops and interior walls in homes and commercial interiors, in kitchens and bathrooms. A powder room vanity or a wall panel shows the breccia without cutting it into small pieces. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs it. Slabs go to that shop by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse or crated LTL freight.
