How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Breccia Etna is a red marble with rust, gold and cream running through it. The slab is 3/4 inch thick and 79x120 in, and its photo is on this page. The supplier did not name a finish, though the photo shows a shine. Stock is on request and priced by quote.

Design

Brick red Etna with gold and cream breaks

Most of the slab is a warm brick red. Gold and ochre streaks cut through it on a diagonal, and cream fragments break the red in a few places, sharp edged like broken pottery. It is a strong stone. Used on a single surface, a bar front or a powder room wall, it carries the room by itself. Next to it, plain white or black looks deliberate.

A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs the slab, and we deliver to the shop by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse, or crated LTL freight beyond.
