How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Calacatta Cremo is a white marble with fine gray veins running in long parallel strokes. These honed slabs are 1 1/4 inch thick and 71x134 in, from two bundles of one block. Pricing is by quote. Stock is on request.

Design

Parallel gray strokes on a soft cream white

The veins here are combed rather than scattered. Thin gray lines run side by side on a diagonal across almost the whole slab, with a faint cream warmth in the white between them. Honing softens every edge. From a few steps back the stone looks lightly brushed, almost like linen. Turning one slab next to the other keeps the strokes running the same way along a counter.

This stone is rated for residential countertops and for residential and commercial interior walls, in kitchens and bathrooms. 134 inches of length and a thick 1 1/4 inch body make it a good choice for an island. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs it. We deliver the slabs to that shop by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse, and by crated LTL freight beyond.
