How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Calacatta Fantastico marble, honed, in green gray swirls

Calacatta Fantastico is a marble with dark green gray bands swirling through white. This honed slab is 3/4 inch thick and 77x120 in. It is one of the boldest stones in the collection. Price comes by quote, and stock is on request.

Design

Dark green swirls through white Fantastico

Deep green and charcoal layers twist across the slab in tight waves, packed close on one side and opening into white on the other. The effect is a little like marbled paper. Honing calms it down only a bit. Each slab from the block shows a different section of the swirl, so the photo matters more than usual with this stone.

Heavy movement

Tight waves of green gray and charcoal.

Open white areas

The pattern thins out into white toward one side.

Where to use it

Honed Fantastico at 77x120 in

It is rated for residential countertops and interior walls in homes and commercial interiors, in a kitchen or a bathroom. A vanity wall or a long counter shows the swirl at its best. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs it, and we deliver to that shop by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse or crated LTL freight beyond.

Statement counters

A pattern strong enough to anchor a kitchen.

Vanity walls

A bath wall that shows the whole swirl.

Why we chose it

Bold greenDeep green gray against white.
Honed faceMatte, so the pattern does the work.
Large slab77x120 in, one piece.

Care

Any marble with calcite can etch from acids. Sealing is left to the fabricator.

Questions we get

Is it mostly white or mostly green?

Both. Green gray swirls fill much of the slab, with open white areas between them. The photo shows the balance.

What size is it?

77x120 in, 3/4 inch thick.

How is it delivered?

To a licensed fabricator, by A-frame truck within 50 miles or crated LTL freight beyond.
