How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

This honed Calacatta is a bright white marble with a fine web of gray veins. Two bundles from one block are listed, with slabs 3/4 inch thick at 75x122 in. Each bundle has its own photo. Stock is on request and priced by quote.

Design

Gray web over bright Calacatta white

Instead of a few heavy veins, the gray here spreads as a net of thin lines, some joining into slightly darker bands. Open white patches sit between them. The honed finish keeps it soft. It is easy to live with: busy enough to hide a crumb, quiet enough to sit under open shelving or a strong backsplash. In a kitchen with white cabinets the gray web keeps the counter from looking flat, and under warm bulbs the white turns a little creamier.

A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs it. The slabs go to that shop, by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse and crated LTL freight beyond.
