How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Design

Bold diagonal veins across Calacatta white

Strong gray veins sweep across the slab on a long diagonal, with smaller branches cracking off them and a few dark specks of charcoal. Large clean white areas sit in between. It is a classic, high contrast Calacatta. Slabs from the same bundle continue the vein line, so a fabricator can carry it from one piece to the next on an island. Under strong kitchen lighting the gray veins look crisp, almost drawn, and the contrast stays clear even in a room with plenty of white.

Where to use it

Calacatta at 71x112 in, two bundles

It is rated for residential countertops and for residential and commercial interior walls, in kitchens and bathrooms. Bold veins look best across a wide surface such as an island or a full wall. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs it, and we deliver to the shop by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse or crated LTL freight beyond.
