How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

These are the thick slabs of a Calacatta block that is also listed in a thinner cut. The marble is bright white with strong gray veins, and the slabs measure 71x112 in. Two bundles are pictured. Stock is on request, priced by quote.

Design

Thick Calacatta with sweeping gray veins

The vein pattern matches the thinner slabs: long gray sweeps on the diagonal, branching cracks and open white fields. What changes is the edge. A thicker slab shows more stone on the front of a counter, so the veins wrap visibly over the edge. That matters on an island with a square profile, where the side is seen as much as the top. The white is bright enough to lift a dark kitchen, and the bold gray lines give a large island a clear direction.

Thick Calacatta at 71x112 in

This marble is rated for residential countertops and interior walls in homes and commercial interiors, in kitchens and bathrooms. Use the thick slabs on counters and the thin ones on walls for a matched room. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs it. Slabs go to that shop by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse or crated LTL freight beyond.
